Getting through that HUGE TBR list...

I joined the HUGE TBR Readathon hosted by Bookworming in the 21st Century. It starts today and will run through Sunday June 20.  I'm setting a goal of 4 books this week, which is probably way too high (because I have friends and family visiting this weekend). Here's some potential titles (which may change depending on my mood):

- Finish The Handbook for Lightning Strike Survivors by Michele Young-Stone
- The Two Princesses of Bamarre by Gail Carson Levine
- Vampire Kisses by Ellen Schreiber
- I Was Amelia Earhart by Jane Mendelsohn

I've got so many other books cluttering my floor, but this would be a great start considering my reading pace slowed down drastically last month.  Can I blame the humid summer weather for that?  I guess not, so it's time to get down to work.  I'll update my progress throughout the week.  Happy readings! :)

  1. I'm a big fan of Jane Mendelsohn and loved I Was Amelia Earhart when I read it eons ago. I hope you review Handbook for Lightning Strike Survivors -- it's been on my shelf for a couple weeks now taunting me. I'd love to see reason to dive in or keep hiding it!

  2. Thanks for the post Kelly! I also read "I Was Amelia Earhart" a long time ago during my weird and obsessive Amelia Earhart stage in middle school. But I remember loving it and figured I'd give it another shot before BookCrossing it to anyone else who's interested. Yep, I'll review Handbook for Lightning Strike Survivors soon...probably next week.

  3. I absolutely loved Amelia Earhart.. I think I'm a historical mystery junkiee. Between Amelia and Anastasia, I think I obsessed too much about people gone missing without explantion.

Hope you enjoy all your books this week!
